Zhang Qi is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Shanghai University, serving as the Deputy Director of the Department of Electronic Information Engineering within the School of Communication and Information Engineering, and is recognized as a high-level talent in Shanghai. He holds a Bachelor’s and a PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University and has undergone visiting research at Duke University in the United States and the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom through government-funded scholarships. His research focuses on medical image analysis, computer vision, and intelligent diagnosis and treatment technologies. He has published 70 SCI papers, including 2 ESI highly cited papers. He has presided over 4 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, encompassing international cooperation and exchange projects, general programs, and youth programs. Additionally, he has led horizontal projects funded by renowned hospitals and enterprises such as Huashan Hospital and Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, the Forensic Testimony and Research Institute of Ministry of Justice, and Baidu, developing intelligent diagnosis and treatment systems based on medical big data to address clinical challenges. He serves as a member of the Academic Committee of the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Medical Image and Medical Knowledge Graph Artificial Intelligence, the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and the Deputy Group Leader of the Artificial Intelligence Subgroup of the Ultrasonics Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association. He has received the Second Prize of the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
