Qiaohong Liu was born in September 1979. She is a professor at the School of Medical Instruments, Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. degree and serves as a graduate advisor. Her primary research areas include intelligent medical imaging, artificial intelligence (with a focus on image processing), smart medical devices, data mining, and analysis. She has served as the principal investigator for various research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Youth Project, the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan, the Ministry of Education’s Industry-Academia Cooperation and Collaborative Education Project, key courses in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission’s Young Talent Project, and industry-related projects. She has published over 40 papers in domestic and international journals (with 11 as the first author), holds two granted invention patents, two software copyrights, and has co-authored three textbooks. Liu Qiaohong has received several honors, including the “March 8th Red Flag Bearer” at Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences, the President’s Award Nomination, Teaching Excellence Award, Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, Outstanding Guidance Teacher in Subject Competitions, and Advanced Individual in Promoting Student Employment. She also serves as a member of the Intelligent Medical Health Committee of the China Health Information and Health Big Data Society and is an executive committee member of the Medical Equipment Development Promotion Committee of the China Medical Education Association.
